The Tough Ruck marathon brings together military, first responders, and civilians from around the country to join together in an 26.2 mile endurance ruck march while carrying the names of fallen heroes. The event has taken place in Concord since 2014 and is held in partnership with the Boston Athletic Association. The Concord 250th Celebration Committee has recognized the Tough Ruck marathon as part of its official lineup of events that will be held in 2025. Citizens are encouraged to cheer on Tough Ruck participants throughout the 26.2 mile marathon distance which will include the towns of Concord, Bedford, and Lexington or join us at the finish line festivities at The Fenn School.
