John F Santos, age 25, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after succumbing to a Brain Aneurysm. He was born May 27, 1997 in New Bedford MA. He became a member of the US Air Force immediately after graduating GNBVT in 2015.
John served overseas in Qatar in 2019 where he obtained his Veteran Status. He was proudly promoted to Staff Sergeant in 2021 in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. He was incredibly passionate about his career in the military and gained brothers in arms along the way. He was part of the Tough Ruck community with the 102nd SFS. John was also a Deputy Sheriff at Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department for 5 years and was awaiting the Massachusetts State Police Academy in 2023.
After John passed, Tough Ruck took care of the funeral expenses for our Airman. It took a huge weight off our shoulders. We can’t thank those who ruck and support this organization enough.
